Volunteer Registration
As of July 2017, volunteers will be required to read the Code of Conduct and register as a TD Niagara Jazz Festival Volunteer to sign up for events and access our new Volunteer Forum.

Why?
​
Over the past 4 years, most of our amazing volunteers have signed up via email, often through word-of-mouth. As a result, the mailing list has grown along with the festival, but the we have very little information about our volunteers - sometimes just an email address. One issue that has come up repeatedly is the sharing of emergency contact information as a comment on the signups.
​
It is important for organizations such as the TD Niagara Jazz Festival to keep records of our volunteers' contact information, including the name and phone number of your emergency contact person, as well as other data relevant to the festival's volunteer needs and our volunteers' experience with us.
Entering and updating this information for over 200 volunteers has become a very large job - too large to be done by manual data entry.

It has also become evident to us that we need a clear Code of Conduct so volunteers know what to expect and what responsibilities are involved.

This brand-new online registration allows us to update completely update our volunteer database and ensure that volunteers are informed about their responsibilities and our expectations.
