selling raffle tickets, festival merchandise, artist CDs and festival tickets (if available)

tracking sales, including artist CDs (tracked separately)

assisting guests in finding T-shirt sizes

using Square to make sales (smartphone card-reader – provided, need to install app)

encouraging larger purchases, upselling

discouraging theft
On each shift, one door/ticketing volunteer and one merch volunteer will be in charge of cash – the individual that signs for the float is responsible for the float at the end of their shift. At the beginning of your shift you will pick up a float and at the end you will take all sales sheets and cash to the Cashier and wait until it is checked. (Shifts will overlap to allow time for this.)

Evening Customer Service volunteers cover all of the above roles at evening events in venues such as wineries and restaurants

greeting guests at entry points to venue

Parking
Simcoe Park (Saturday daytime):

Placing orange cones in 1 or 2 parking spaces near the Fallsview Fiesta Stage (Byron Street, opposite St. Mark's Church)

Maintaining these spaces ONLY for artists to unload and load their gear

Ensuring artists vacate the spaces after unloading and loading. Nobody may park in these spaces
Megalomaniac (Sunday daytime and evening)

Directing guests to onsite parking areas
Customer Service volunteers must have a friendly and helpful attitude and a willingness to engage all guests

First shift helps with setup, last shift helps with packing up (as stated in the Code of Conduct, General Rules #6)
